Some would say that a weekend event is not the sort of love HA needs. Hmm?!

I was hoping for double kurz faction in AB, double greens, rare drops from PVE chests....something to cater to a lot more of the population.

No, rank = experiance. Although experiance and skill often go together, they are very different aspects of play.

WTS Sarcasm Detector

Even if I still played HA regularly this event wouldn't interest me

all farmers will leave trolls alone for this weekend and move to HA , playing teh lamezor builds (trump way aka new iway, necro spike , para spike , rit spike , searing flames).
From 100 teams of n00b farmers one will actually win hoh.
pr0 players will not even bother to go to HA in this weekend.

No double fame is good.

Double fame just encourages people to play lame builds like SF and fame farm.

Meh... make it a triple fame weekend and I might consider doing HA again, just to hopefully get a deer.

And why would double experience on skill captures or double green rewards or free FoW/UW weekends intrigue a PvP gamer, such as myself?

And how does HA differ from any other form of elite gaming, FPS, RTS, etc?

Even GvG is the same as HA - the only thing is that titles really don't affect who you GvG with.

well, you do make one point.
perhaps they need to run double events. one for pvp and one for pve.
but if its just one, it should be something that a lot of people will benefit from. even if it is pvp, make it something like double kurzick and luxon faction from ab/aspenwood/quarry, or something... something that more than the elitists can benefit from.
this event would basically be the equivalent of an event that just doubles the chance at getting a good item from mallyx, when not many players will get any chance to be doubled.

It amazes me how people will ALWAYS find something to moan about. Talk about being ungrateful. Be happy that there will in fact be a stream of players in the beginning whom you can go up against.

The events in question have been done a few times already, why shouldn't halls winners get something?

ok let's be happy it's not another double scroll weekend.

kinda off topic but does anyone know if they're doing an eye of the north preview event, even if it's an expansion?
